Brompton Mexican Championship

On July 30, 2011 the first Brompton Mexican Championship took place at the spectacular Bosque de Chapultepec in Mexico City. 70 people participated in two categories; fastest male and fastest female. All participants donned suit, tie and shirt (or traditional long-sleeved guayabera).

Winners Alberto Chavez and Karla Juarez were rewarded with their airfare and registration to the Brompton World Championship held at Blenheim Palace in August.

All competitors were rewarded with refreshments at the end including fruit, sandwiches, wine and cakes. Organisers also enjoyed the event and are certain we can expect a bigger and better Brompton Mexican Championship in 2012.

Photos from the day can be seen on the Brompton Facebook fan page.
